How to Use QuikClot ACS™
- Evaluate the Wound
- Apply normal pressure and bandage
- If bleeding persists, apply tourniquet if appropriate
- If bleeding persists after about three minutes
of pressure and tourniquet, remove dressing and pack wound with
enough QuikClot ACS™ bags to cover the entire wound
- Protect the Wound
- Seek Professional Medical Care
