SSG-EMT-B Al Biaj, Iraq – Lacerated leg
Injured soldier with a 4 inch, jagged shaped laceration on left lower leg. Medic
applied pressure dressing but this was unsuccessful at stopping the bleed. QuikClot
was poured on the wound and bleeding stopped. Soldier’s life was
saved.
