EMT-P - Akron, OH – Dialysis patient
A patient was bleeding uncontrollably from her dialysis port. Paramedics
applied direct pressure and elevated the wound however the bleeding would not
stop. QuikClot was applied and controlled the bleeding from a gush to
a trickle.
